Front-wheel drive comes standard with all trim levels. However, you can upgrade to AWD with the Z71 trim. 

The 2025 Traverse is an incredibly fuel-efficient full-size SUV. The FWD option can get up to 20 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway.
