What's New for 2027

The most significant addition for 2027 is the standard NACS charge port on every Blazer EV trim. Owners can now plug directly into Tesla Superchargers and other NACS-compatible stations across the more than 250,000-charger North American network with no adapter required. That change removes the single biggest public charging friction point for new EV buyers.

 

The SS trim also carries forward its Wide Open Watts performance mode, producing 615 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque and a GM-estimated 0-to-60 time of 3.4 seconds, reinforcing its status as the quickest Chevy SS model ever built. Two new special editions, Midnight and Sport, arrive on the LT for 2027, each bringing 19-inch Black aluminum wheels, high-gloss Black roof rails, Black bowties and badging, and dark chrome trim on the air vents. The Midnight Edition is offered exclusively in Black; the Sport Edition pairs those same Black appearance pieces with a choice of available paint colors.

The 2027 Blazer EV is offered in three trims: LT, RS, and SS.

2027 blazer-ev LT.

LT is the entry point and comes standard with the 17.7-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in, HD Surround Vision, a standard Dual Level Charge Cord supporting Level 1 (120V) and Level 2 (240V) charging, and the NACS charge port. Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance is available on LT. The LT is available in FWD or AWD configurations.

RS adds a sport-tuned exterior package with a Black-painted grille panel, gloss Black lower fascia, illuminated front light bar and animated bowtie, 21-inch machined-face wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, a wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, ambient interior lighting, AutoSense Power Liftgate, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an auto-dimming inside mirror. Super Cruise and a Head-Up Display are available on RS. The RS is available in FWD or AWD.

SS is AWD-only and adds the Performance Dual Motor powertrain, 22-inch gloss Black wheels, Brembo six-piston front brakes with bronze-painted calipers, an SS-tuned suspension, standard Super Cruise with a three-year OnStar plan, standard Bose eight-speaker audio, a Rear Camera Mirror with washer, and heated rear outboard seats. The SS is the only trim with Wide Open Watts mode.

Performance & Powertrain

The LT and RS use an 85 kWh battery with a single-motor FWD drive unit producing 220 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque for a 312-mile EPA-estimated range. AWD versions of the LT and RS use a dual-motor AWD setup producing 300 hp and 355 lb-ft of torque with an EPA-estimated 283-mile range.

 

The SS uses a larger 102 kWh battery paired with a Performance Dual Motor AWD system. In standard driving it produces 615 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque when Wide Open Watts mode is engaged, with an EPA-estimated 302-mile range. The SS supports up to 190 kW DC fast charging; LT and RS support up to 150 kW DC fast charging.

 

All trims include an 11.5 kW onboard charging module for Level 2 AC charging at home, one-pedal driving with regenerative braking, and vehicle-to-home (V2H) bidirectional charging capability for compatible homes.

Interior, Comfort & Cargo

The Blazer EV seats up to five passengers across all trims. Behind the second row there is 25.5 cubic feet of cargo space. With the 60/40 split-folding rear seats flat, max cargo capacity reaches 59.1 cubic feet.

 

LT seats use cloth upholstery with 6-way manual front seats. The RS and SS use perforated suede/Evotex seating surfaces with an 8-way power driver seat, 6-way power front passenger seat, 2-way power lumbar for both, driver memory settings, and heated and ventilated front seats. The SS adds heated rear outboard seats.

 

The RS and SS bring ambient multi-color interior lighting in the front HVAC vents, a race car-inspired flat-bottom wrapped steering wheel, and a heated steering wheel. The LT can be optioned with the Comfort and Convenience Package, which adds a 10-way power driver seat, 8-way power passenger seat, Evotex seating surfaces, heated front seats, wireless phone charging, AutoSense Power Liftgate, and heated power-folding mirrors.

 

An illuminated Chevy emblem is standard on RS and SS. Walk-up lighting and a Black two-tone roof are standard on RS and SS and available on LT.

Technology & Infotainment

Every 2027 Blazer EV comes with a 17.7-inch diagonal touchscreen with Google Built-in, including Google Maps, Google Play, and Google Gemini voice assistance. The myChevrolet mobile app supports remote start, route planning, public charger location, and Plug & Charge enrollment for compatible stations. OnStar Basics is standard for eight years and includes built-in voice assistance, real-time navigation, automatic crash response, and access to audio streaming apps.

 

A 5G vehicle connection and Wi-Fi hotspot capability come standard across all trims. The LT includes a 6-speaker audio system; the RS also uses a 6-speaker setup with wireless phone charging available. The SS includes a Bose 8-speaker system with amplifier and subwoofer as part of its standard Super Cruise Package.

 

Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance is available on LT and RS and standard on SS. The SS includes a three-year OnStar Super Cruise plan and Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist. A Head-Up Display is available on the RS and standard on the SS.

Safety & Driver Assistance

Every 2027 Blazer EV ships with over 15 standard safety and driver assistance features as part of Chevy Safety Assist. Standard items include Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator, and IntelliBeam auto high beams.

 

Also standard across all trims: Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Reverse Automatic Braking, Blind Zone Steering Assist, Side Bicyclist Alert, HD Surround Vision, Rear Pedestrian Alert, Rear Park Assist, Safety Alert Seat, Adaptive Cruise Control, and LED Reflective Windshield Collision Alert. The SS adds Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist through its standard Super Cruise Package. A battery limited warranty covers 8 years or 100,000 miles, backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.
