You’ll need new tires if the Tread Wear Indicators at three or more places around the tire can be seen. We recommend that the tires be inspected for signs of wear or damage at least once a month, and that vehicle owners seek professional service if the following are found:

- Cracks in tire tread or sidewalls.

- Cuts in tires that reveal cord or fabric.

- Bumps, bulges or splits in tires.

- Punctures in tires.

- Any other irreparable damage.

An underinflated tire can result in overloading and overheating, blowouts, excessive tire wear, poor handling and reduced fuel economy. Overinflated tires also can result in excessive tire wear.

GM recommends tire rotation every 7,500 miles or at each oil change visit for most Chevy models. Silverado and truck owners who tow or haul frequently may benefit from more frequent rotation, every 5,000 miles, to counteract the accelerated wear caused by variable load conditions. Check your owner's manual for your specific model's recommendation.

All Chevy models sold in the US since 2008 are equipped with TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). TPMS monitors real-time pressure in each tire and alerts you when pressure drops significantly. The TPMS must be recalibrated, or relearned, whenever tires are rotated, replaced, or moved to different wheel positions. On most Chevy models, this relearn procedure can be performed through the vehicle's settings menu; our technicians handle it automatically with every tire service.

Yes. We perform computerized wheel alignment for all Chevy models. Alignment should be checked annually and after any significant impact, including hitting a Milwaukee pothole, curb strike, or road debris strike. Signs of misalignment include pulling to one side, uneven tire wear, one edge wearing faster, or a steering wheel that sits off-center on a straight road.
