Two brand-new small-block V8s, a 5.7L and a 6.6L, replace the outgoing units and deliver what Chevrolet calls improved power and torque over the prior generation. Both are American-assembled and carry the brand's 70-year V8 legacy into a thoroughly modern architecture.

 

The interior received an equally significant overhaul. Every trim in the 2027 lineup, starting with the Work Truck, now ships with a 16.3-inch center touchscreen and a 12.2-inch digital driver information center as standard equipment. That edge-to-edge display setup was previously reserved for higher trims. Now it is the baseline.

Trim Lineup

The 2027 Silverado 1500 offers seven distinct configurations, each carrying the new standard technology suite.
